The Tippmann C3 was the first propane-powered paintball gun on the market.  In fact, it represents a revolution in paintball markers, period.  It’s a bit of a crazy-looking gun, like something straight out of DOOM, but you’re more likely to run out of rounds in cyberspace than in the real field with one of these puppies!

Why is that?

Because the C3 utilizes PEP (Propane Enhanced Performance) technology that lets you shoot up to 50,000(!) rounds on a single 16oz propane canister.  Downside is that it’s a pump action gun, so you need to click the pump like a shotgun before firing a round BUT even though it’s not a semi-automatic marker, it’s still capable of pumping out 4 BPS. 

The upside is that you won’t waste precious time replacing C02/N2/Air cartridges while your opponent fumbles with theirs!  This is a perfect woodsball marker where you can pick and choose your shots more carefully.

The C3 is way cheaper to maintain than most markers since you get so many rounds out of a propane tank.  Propane also has the advantage of better consistency over other media because its consistency doesn’t depend upon ambient temperature.

For under $300, this 13 inch barrel bad-boy is a unique and powerful marker and Tippmann’s patent allows for a semi-automatic version of the C3, which would change the game overnight!
